How it works

Three steps, and none of them touch the site.

Turn it on for the project
In the dashboard, choose Chrome extension under Installation and list the sites it should match, like staging.shop.com.

Install and sign in
Add it from the Chrome Web Store. Enter your email, type the 6-digit code, and your projects load.

Report on a matched site
Open the site and the Report button is there. Point at what broke, mark it up, send.

FAQ

Before you install

Is the report different from the widget’s?

No. The extension adds the same widget to the page, so the report has the element, console errors, requests with bodies, the steps and the environment, and your agent reads it over MCP the same way.

Where does it run?

Only on the sites your project lists under Chrome match URLs. On every other site it adds nothing.

Does it see what happened before I opened the page?

It starts capturing when a matched page finishes loading. For errors during the first load, or reports from people who won’t install anything, use the widget.

Who can report with it?

The project owner and the reporters they invite. Each person signs in with a code sent to their email, and sees only their projects.

Can a project use both the widget and the extension?

A project uses one install channel. Create a second project for staging if you want the widget on production and the extension on staging.

What happened to SnagRelay Helper?

It is retired. This extension replaces it and also takes the screenshot from the tab, so iframes, canvas and video come through.
